Aims and Scope of the School:
This IBRO-APRC Georgian Associate School of Neuroscience invites MDs, Masters, Ph.D. students, postdoctoral fellows, and young faculty members in the Asia-Pacific region to provide them with a 5-day opportunity to gain some basic to advanced knowledge in the area of neuroscientific research with lectures and virtual workshops. The key areas which are going to be mainly addressed will include behavioral, cellular & molecular, and electrophysiological methodology in neuroscience.
Description:
This Associate School is organized by the International Center for Neuroscience Research in partnership with the Direction of Human and Animal Physiology, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in Georgia from 20-24 August 2021. The school will be organized at the same time with 2nd Annual Meeting of International Center for Neuroscience Research. This school will provide a 5-day comprehensive course program including lectures, virtual workshop, and panel discussion. The school will focus on the following themes: Behavioral Studies, Molecular Studies, Electrophysiological Studies, Pain and Addiction Research. The main topic of school is “Recent Advances in Neurodegenerative Diseases and their Therapies”. The participants are encouraged to submit their abstracts for presentation at 2nd Annual Meeting of International Center for Neuroscience Research. The recent developments in brain disorders and therapies will be discussed.
Who should apply to this School?
MDs, MS.c, Ph.D. students, postdoctoral fellows, and young faculty members below the age of 35 years from the Asia-Pacific regions are all welcomed. Preference will be given to students who have experience in research with publications. 20 national and international students will be considered to participate in this school. Only students from the Asia-Pacific region are eligible to apply.
What costs will be covered for selected applicants?
No costs covered as the school will take place in a virtual format.
