Biography:
Khatuna Parkosadze is a member of the Faculty Council at Faculty of Healthcare Sciences of the East European Universty. Dr. Parkosadze performs her research at the Laboratory of Vision of Physiology, Ivane Beritashvili Center of Experimental Biomedicine and at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, Free University of Tbilisi. Dr. Parkosadze has been engaged in professional and pedagogical activities for years. She has experience of working and internships with many international scientific schools, including the Institute of Medical Psychology and Medical Sociology at Schleswig-Holstein University Hospital (UKSH) of University of Kiel, Germany; Psychology of Perception Research laboratory of Paris Descartes University, France, Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors (IfADo), Dortmund, Germany and the University of Bundeswehr Munich, Germany. She holds a academic degree of Doctor of Biology. Dr. Parkosadze’s main scientific interest is Biomedical Sciences and Basic Medical Sciences. Dr. Parkosadze actively participates in various scientific research programs, has published about 20 international and local scientific articles. She has been a speaker and participant of numerous international and local conferences, workshops and seminars, as well as in professional development programs. Dr. Parkosadze is a principal investigator of many scientific projects and grants.
